The film follows Pablo and Blanca, a couple in a sexless marriage whose relationship is nearing a breaking point. In a desperate attempt to rekindle their romance, they decide to experiment with "swinging" or a couples' exchange. However, they proceed by breaking two fundamental rules of the lifestyle: they attempt it while in a relationship crisis, and they do so with two single friends rather than another established couple.
