The story follows a lonely Frankenstein (Christian Bale) who travels to 1930s Chicago to have Dr. Euphronius (Annette Bening) create a companion. They revive a murdered young woman (Jessie Buckley) who, upon waking, possesses a blank mind with dreams of author Mary Shelley. The Bride quickly breaks away from her creators to live an outlaw life, with her and Frank’s story often compared to a "Grimm's Fairy Tale" version of Bonnie and Clyde . Characters & Cast:
