This is your primary defense. Instead of just dodging, time your "Absorb" to consume enemies. Successful absorbs fill your breath meter and eventually grant you Traits —permanent upgrades based on the creature you consumed.

Many areas require specific movement abilities (like dash or pull) that you unlock by defeating major bosses. If you hit a wall, backtrack to see if your new powers can open a previously blocked path. This is your primary defense
