The Labour Party has strongly condemned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for allegedly omitting the party's name and logo from the ballot papers used in the Lagos State governorship election.

The party also urged its supporters to remain calm and to continue to exercise their franchise by voting for the party.
"We are shocked and disappointed that INEC, which is supposed to be an impartial umpire in the electoral process, could engage in such a blatant act of partisanship," Abure said.
In a statement issued by the party's national chairman, Julius Abure, the party called on INEC to immediately take corrective measures to address the issue.
