In the first episode of Death Parade , titled " Death: Seven Darts ," a recently married couple named Takashi and Machiko awaken in the mysterious Quindecim bar with no memory of how they arrived. They are forced by the bartender, Decim, to play a high-stakes game of darts, where each hit causes physical pain to their partner. As the game progresses, buried secrets, including suspicions of infidelity and lies about a pregnancy, are brought to the surface, ultimately revealing the couple's true natures to the Arbiter, Decim.
